Stargate

Here is a Stargate arcade game for sale.  It comes with the original artwork on the sides.  This is the sequel to Defender.

Williams’ Stargate is the sequel to Defender. It was among the first arcade games to utilize a separate CPU for the soundboard, which was designed by Motorola. Created by Eugene Jarvis and Larry DeMar, it was the first of only three productions from Vid Kidz, an independent development house formed by Jarvis and DeMar.   Eugene Jarvis has designed many successful games for Williams like Robotron, Smash TV, Narc, and the Crusin USA series.  He is also the founder of Raw Thrills who still makes video arcade games today.

The following is from the Arcade Museum

The player’s ship flies over a horizontally scrolling planet surface, protecting friendly humanoids from alien abduction. Destroying all enemies advances you to the next wave. Loss of all humanoids destroys the planet until it is reinstated every fifth wave.
